1. Scope and operator
KithPlan is operated by Ada Tech Solutions Inc. (“AdaTech”, “we”, “us”).
This policy covers the KithPlan iPhone app and the KithPlan pages at
adatechsolutions.ca/kithplan. The main AdaTech website has a
separate website privacy policy.
2. Data KithPlan handles
Event and collaboration content
You may enter event names, dates, locations, notes, schedules, guest names and email addresses, RSVP details, shopping items, expense amounts and splits, safety plans, external links, and a selected cover photo. This content is used only to provide the event-planning and collaboration features you choose.
Private readiness information
Personal considerations, an emergency contact, private notes, and per-event readiness checks are kept in a this-device-only Keychain item. They are kept out of shared events, invitations, exports, and CloudKit.
Optional Apple Health information
If you choose to connect Apple Health, KithPlan requests read-only access to recent workouts, steps, walking/running distance, cycling distance, flights climbed, and exercise time. KithPlan requests no write access. It computes a seven-day snapshot on your iPhone, keeps that snapshot in memory, and does not persist, upload, share, advertise with, or sell Health data.
Purchase information
Apple processes subscription payments. KithPlan checks verified StoreKit entitlement status to unlock Organizer Plus. AdaTech does not receive your payment card or bank details from the app.
Support communications
If you email support, we receive the address and content you choose to send. Please do not send Health records, passwords, or unnecessary sensitive information.
3. Where information is stored
- On your iPhone: event working copies are stored in KithPlan’s protected app container.
- In your Keychain: private readiness information uses this-device-only protection and is available only while the device is unlocked.
- In Apple iCloud: when you save or share an event, event content is placed in the host’s private CloudKit database and made available only through Apple’s share controls to accepted participants.
- In files you export: event exports go only to the Files provider and destination you choose.
People accepted into an iCloud share can view and edit the event content made available through that share. Do not place private medical details in shared event notes or guest-visible fields.
4. Apple services and user-directed handoffs
KithPlan uses Apple services such as CloudKit, StoreKit, HealthKit, WeatherKit, MapKit, PhotosPicker, Calendar, Mail, Messages, Files, and Live Activities. Those services are subject to Apple’s privacy practices and your device and Apple Account settings. Calendar, Mail, Messages, Photos, and Files open only after you take the related action. External invitation, album, playlist, map, route, and other links open the destination you select.
KithPlan does not create a separate AdaTech password account and never receives your iCloud password.
5. How we use and disclose information
Information is used for app functionality: saving and sharing plans, showing chosen photos, coordinating guests, calculating costs, providing weather context, and confirming subscription access. We do not sell personal information, use it for cross-app tracking, or serve third-party advertising.
Event data may be disclosed to people you invite, to Apple as the platform provider, to service providers acting for us, when required by law, or to protect users, rights, and security. KithPlan does not send Health data to AdaTech or other participants.
6. Retention, export, and deletion
- Use Settings → Export my data to create a portable event-library file.
- Delete a local event to remove its device copy.
- When the host deletes a hosted event individually, KithPlan also removes its iCloud record and revokes participant access.
- When a guest deletes a shared event, only that guest’s device copy is removed; the host controls the iCloud record.
- Use Settings → Delete private readiness data to erase the this-device-only safety vault.
- Use Settings → Delete local event library to remove all device copies after individually removing any hosted iCloud events you also want deleted.
Apple may retain information under its iCloud, App Store, fraud-prevention, accounting, backup, or legal obligations. Support correspondence is kept only as reasonably needed to answer the request, maintain security, and meet legal obligations.
7. Security
KithPlan uses Apple platform protections, app-container data protection, this-device-only Keychain storage for private readiness information, validated HTTPS links, verified StoreKit transactions, and private/shared CloudKit zones. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure; protect your device, Apple Account, and invitation links.
8. These KithPlan web pages
The KithPlan product, privacy, terms, and support pages do not load AdaTech’s website analytics or advertising pixels. Cloudflare hosts and secures the pages and may process standard request information such as IP address, browser details, timestamps, and security signals under its role as infrastructure provider.
9. Children
KithPlan is a general-audience planning tool and is not directed to children who cannot lawfully consent to the handling of their information. A parent or guardian should supervise a child’s use and should avoid adding unnecessary child information to shared events.
10. Your choices and rights
You control Health permission in iOS Settings, CloudKit participation through Apple’s sharing controls, and app data through KithPlan’s export and deletion actions. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing. Private CloudKit records are controlled through your Apple Account and may not be identifiable to AdaTech.

11. Changes and contact
